Structure of my Practice

I am a solo practice psychiatrist. I primarily see patients and families for psychiatric treatment in person, through video (telehealth) or by phone. I also do forensic consultation, evaluations and associated legal work.

I generally see patients for psychiatric treatment on Mondays and Tuesdays in my private psychiatric office at the Jackson Gray Medical Office Building, 330 Borthwick Avenue Suite 111, Portsmouth. I do forensic psychiatric work on an as needed basis. I am available to my patients for emergencies or prescription or medical issues always by texting or calling my cellphone. Short phone calls or contacts are not charged, but longer contacts are subject to charges. On vacations I have coverage arranged with local psychiatrists through my office phone, 603-431-5350

All services provided are self-pay. Starting January 1, 2024, I decided to no longer contract with any insurance companies and have a strictly self-pay practice. Depending on your insurance company, they may provide partial payment to cover the payments for my services. My office manager can help with providing receipts for payment and filled out insurance forms for possible reimbursement by your insurance company. Payment for services by either credit card or check is expected at the time of service.

Missed Appointments or Cancellations: I generally charge for missed appointments or cancellations with less than 48 hours-notice (business hours Monday through Friday). I do not charge for cancellations due to illness.
